Impact


RAFYT implemented the Human Centred Development Project (2017-2018) in Mwenezi and Masvingo in partnership with Civic Forum on Human Development. RAFYT investigated the issues that affected adolescents and young people and capacitated them in Human Development Monitoring and Development in Masvingo Urban and Mwenezi Rural District. The project reached 1500 people (63% females and 37% males).
RAFYT led the consortium with Youth Initiative of Belarus was supported for a project by The Swedish National Council for Youth Organisation with USD$5,000.00 for a 6 months project titled, “Local Governments With Youths: Youth Know your rights” 2018. The project reached 200 people (55% females and 45% males).
#LeaveNoYouthBenhind project aimed at identifying electoral challenges and solutions for young women and men engagement in electoral processes. The 12 months project was supported National Association of Youth Organisations in Zimbabwe with a USD$ 1 500.00 grant. The project reached 2000 youths (52% females and 48% males)
The Swedish National Council for Youth Organisation through YETT granted USD$1000.00 in December 2016 for the I Am Zimbabwe Campaign, a digital campaign that amplified young men and women’s voices of various issues affecting them.
RAFYT led the consortium with Free Patriotic Movement of Lebanon was supported for a project by The Swedish National Council for Youth Organisation with USD$5,000.00 for a project titled Social Media Skills Development for Activism in 2015.  The project reached 200 youths (60% females and 40% males).
In 2014, RAFYT developed the Zimbabwe National Youth Policy Android Application with support amounting to US$2000.00 from Funds for Development and Partnership in Afrika (FEPA).
Open Society Institute for Southern Africa (OSISA) through YETT supported Swag My Vote (2012-2013) with USD$20,000.00. The project reached 5000 first time voters.
